Tips for creating email templates
- Do not copy and paste from Word – Always type directly into the text boxes. Emails are created with a special code, called HTML. Copy and pasting from a Word document (which uses its own code) may create some unexpected results!
- Includes links to your website by using the ‘Insert/edit link’ icon.
- Use images or logos using the ‘Insert/edit image’ icon. Use images already on your website or ask your website developer to help you with hosting images online.
- Enter ‘Hi’ ‘Hello’ or ‘Dear’ (or any greeting you wish) into the greeting line of your email template and it will automatically insert the first name of your guest.
